The Lord is my rock, my fortress and my deliverer; In Him will I trust! -- 2 Samuel 22:1-3
Rising Sun Baptist Church is a Christ-centered, Bible-believing, fellowship that seeks to minister to the whole man. Our primary goal is to fulfill the Great Commission of Jesus Christ, to “Go ye therefore and teach all nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father, and of the Son, and of the Holy Ghost.” Our sole purpose and prayer is to help you develop a rich and lasting relationship with Jesus and to find your place in God’s kingdom.
Our Mission
To revive the saved, redeem the lost and reclaim our community through the transforming gospel of Jesus Christ!
Our Vision
To become a multi-national, multi-generational missional church who meets the spiritual and the physical needs of men, women and children in our community and around the world.
RSBC African Attire
The Missionary Ministry at Rising Sun Baptist Church is sponsoring its annual “Prayer Walk with Jesus” on Saturday, June 4, 2016. This is a 3-mile walk through the neighbor-hood, as walkers pray for God's blessings on the people, the homes and the businesses in the community.
